Заградитель состоит из двух пластин. Одну из них, имеющую сплошной вырез, прибивают или прикручивают к летку. Вторая в виде защелки скользит по первой и прикрывает проход. Если перевернуть защелку, проход будет закрыт для пчел, при этом вентиляция происходит через мелкие отверстия в защелке.
Этот заградитель применяется при перевозке, организации новых отводков и в других случаях вынужденной изоляции пчел в улье.

Загороджувач складається з двох пластин. Одну з них, що має суцільний виріз, прибивають або прикручують до льотка. Друга у вигляді засувки ковзає по першій і прикриває прохід. Якщо перевернути засувку, прохід буде закритий для бджіл, при цьому вентиляція відбувається через дрібні отвори у засувці.
Цей загороджувач застосовується під час перевезення, організації нових відводків та в інших випадках вимушеної ізоляції бджіл у вулику.
